SONTRAFIC manufactures special columns that incorporate signs indicating the distances of position of the ships passing through the new set of locks of the Panama Canal expansion.
The company INDRA, we propose the development and design of special columns to install in the expansion of the Panama Canal and our technical department together with our collaborating companies, we propose a solution that once presented to the construction company was accepted.
The manufacturing was carried out in 2 annuities, 2014 and 2015 respectively.
- In 2014, 158 columns and 316 signals were manufactured.
- In 2015, 40 columns and 80 signals were manufactured.
The expanded Panama Canal was inaugurated on June 26, 2016
